Hanuri — EPS-TOPIK Korean

Hanuri (“the app”, “we”) is a Korean-language learning app for the EPS-TOPIK exam. We collect as little personal data as possible.

1. No account, no login

The app uses an anonymous account. No sign-up, email, phone, password, or real name is required. On first launch, the server issues a random anonymous identifier (UUID) to save your progress. It is not derived from your device or any advertising ID.

2. What we collect (linked to your anonymous ID)

• Profile you choose: nickname, preferred language, self-rated level, optional nationality (free-text — please don’t enter sensitive info).
• Learning activity: quiz attempts (answer chosen, correct/incorrect, time), mock-exam results/scores, study time, streaks, daily stats, accuracy, bookmarks & notes, wrong-answer notes, vocabulary review state, lesson/alphabet progress.
• Purchase status: active membership (lifetime/monthly). Payments are processed by the app stores and RevenueCat; we never receive or store your card number.
• App settings: language, level, daily goal, theme.

3. What we do NOT collect

No email, phone, real name, password, location, contacts, photos/media, camera, microphone/audio recordings (audio is playback-only), health/financial-account data, browsing/search history, or advertising identifier (IDFA / Android Advertising ID). No ads, no third-party analytics tracking.

4. Third parties

RevenueCat (payments) receives only your anonymous identifier. App Stores process payment under their policies. Crash diagnostics (Sentry), if enabled in a build, collects anonymous crash data with personal info disabled, not linked to your identity. We do not sell or share your learning data with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Storage & security

Learning data is stored on our servers and cached on your device for offline use. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

6. Your choices & deletion

Delete your data anytime via Settings → Reset app data. This removes it from active use on our servers and wipes the local copy (records may persist briefly in backups before permanent removal).

7. Children

Intended for adult workers preparing for the EPS-TOPIK exam; not directed at children.

8. Changes & contact

By using Hanuri you agree to these Terms. Hanuri helps you prepare for the EPS-TOPIK exam (Hangul lessons, practice, listening, vocabulary, mock tests, textbook) in multiple languages.

Accounts

An anonymous account tied to a random identifier. Anyone with access to your device may access your in-app data.

Membership & payments

Free to install with free content (full Hangul alphabet, practice questions, one mock test). Extra content unlocks with a single membership: lifetime (one-time) or monthly (auto-renewing). Payments are processed by Apple App Store / Google Play via RevenueCat; prices vary by country. Monthly subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled in your store account settings.

Acceptable use & IP

Don’t misuse the app, circumvent payment/content protection, or reverse-engineer it. Learning content is for personal study only and may not be redistributed.

Hanuri is an independent study aid, not affiliated with or endorsed by the EPS-TOPIK program, HRD Korea, or any government body. We do not guarantee you will pass. Content is provided “as is”.

All payments are processed by the Apple App Store and Google Play, so refunds follow their policies.

How to request

Apple: request at reportaproblem.apple.com or via your purchase history. Google: request via Google Play (Account → Order history) or Google Play support, within Google’s refund window.

Subscriptions (monthly)

Auto-renews until cancelled. Cancel anytime in your store account settings to stop future charges; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and you keep access until then. Cancelling does not automatically refund the current period unless the store’s policy provides for it.

Lifetime (one-time)

One-time payment; refund eligibility follows the store’s standard window.
